僧寶是一切世間供養、佈施，修福的無上福田。供僧就是一種清淨的供養，讓眾生當下遠離煩惱，除心束縛，得清淨心。發心設齋供眾成就道場，不僅能廣結善緣、減輕業障，長養佈施喜舍之心，更為當來深植出世的菩提善因。
出家眾仰仗修行，進德修業；在家信眾以供僧功德，福慧增長。也由於信徒佈施道糧，供養有道、有學的出家人，讓他們沒有物資的缺乏，而能積極弘法利生，將佛法遍佈世間，居士于此因緣供僧，可謂護法護教的菩薩行。
Merits of offering food to Sangha
Offering Sangha for food that they do not have the lack of materials, and can actively promote the Dharma in the world. And the one who do this could raise Bodhicitta and get pure mind to far away ignorance.
